The President of Kerala Kabaddi Association, Sri A. Jayakumar, along with other office bearers of the Association, met Hon’ble Sports Minister of Kerala, Adv. Shri.O.J Janeesh, at Kodungallur on 21st June 2026.
On behalf of the Kerala Kabaddi Association, the delegation extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Hon’ble Minister on assuming charge as the Sports Minister of Kerala.
During the meeting, the officials discussed matters related to the development and promotion of Kabaddi in the State, including strengthening grassroots programs, identifying and nurturing young talents, improving training facilities, and creating more opportunities for Kabaddi players.
The Association emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between the Government, Sports Department, and sports organizations to take Kerala Kabaddi to greater heights and to produce players capable of excelling at the national and international levels.
